Description:
a community dedicated to fanfiction and art based on classic cinema.
Welcome to silverscreenfic, the best place on LJ to fill your need for fanfiction based on the classics. We welcome all fanfiction, art, icons, images, and banners based on films released prior to 1970, and are extremely slash-friendly. We also welcome discussion of classic films, recommendations, and requests for various types of fic. This is your community. Have fun with it!

Rules:

1) Be polite. We are all decent, civilised people here, so let's try and act like it.

2) No quiz results. At all. This means you.

3) If you want to post large images, lots of small images, anything over 500 words, or anything with an R or NC-17 rating, please use an LJ cut and appropriate warnings.

4) If you liked something, say so! We all love the feedback.

5) Try to stay on topic.

6) DO use your spellcheck and/or a beta reader. Ask someone in the comm to beta for you.

Feel free to pimp related communities and websites, and suggest some more things to go under "interests".
